December 19-20, 2009, Professor Yu Xiaofeng, director of Zhejiang University's Center for Non-traditional Security and Peaceful Development, participated in an international academic conference themed "Green Revolution and World Order" at the Fudan Institute for Advanced Study in Social Sciences. Yu gave a speech entitled "Green Justice and Green Diplomacy," where he discussed topics such as the "Superior Co-existence between state actors," "Identity Security as the most important security," and the three-stage progression of Chinese diplomacy from a "politics-focused Red Diplomacy" to an "economics-focused Gold Diplomacy" and finally to a "Green-dominated multi-color diplomacy." Yu's ideas of how to obtain "Identity Security" aroused enthusiastic discussion among conference participants.
