Dr Shunji CUI: Lecturer of International Politics, Department of Political Science, College of Public Administration, Zhejiang University, and Research Fellow, Centre for Non-Traditional Security and Peaceful Development Studies, Zhejiang University, is awarded 2010 British Academy (http://www.britac.ac.uk/) Visiting Fellowship.
The British Academy is the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences. It established by Royal Charter in 1902, champions and supports the humanities and social sciences. It is an independent, self-governing fellowship of scholars elected for their distinction and achievement.
Via the visiting scholarship scheme, Dr Cui works with Dr Ruth Kattumuri at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Asia Research Centre, on project Impact of Cultivated Land Conversion on Environmental Sustainability and Development in China: Human Security Perspectives.
