Research Team 11: Chemical Engineering Security

Research Fields: Chemical Separation Process, Membrane Science and Technology, Environmental Biotechnology, Bioseparation Technology.

Team Leader: Prof. Chen Huanlin

Core Members: Associate Prof. Zhang Lin, Dr. Bai Yunxiang, Dr. Cheng Lihua.

Team Introduction: Members of the group engage in a wide range of research, include: biochemical engineering, separation technology and environment engineering. They found that there were many problems, which needed to engage in NTS studies to tackle the problem. Prof. Chen’s research focuses on the relationship between the traditional chemical separation process and the non-traditional security issues. Dr. Zhang will focus on water resources in CE; Dr. Bai will study on functional membrane, and Dr. Cheng will carry out the biotransformation of CO₂ on the air.
