CHEN Zichen (陈子辰)

CHEN Zichen is Professor and PhD supervisor at the College of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, Zhejiang University; deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Zhejiang University; member of the National Engineering Education Steering Committee; member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Institute of Production Engineering Council; member of Chinese Institute of Precision Machinery Instrumentation Branch; vice Chairman of the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Committee; and an Academic Expert at the Centre for the NTS-PD, Zhejiang University.

He has presided over the national research programs such as the National 863 Program, national defence pre-research program, the doctoral fund research programs of the Ministry of Education.

He was awarded the State Education Commission Science and Technology Progress Award; Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award, the provincialoutstanding teaching; and the National Invention Award patents. Professor Chenhas published more than 100 scholarly articles.
